Thoughtful, brave, strong and resilient lady who was always putting others first and was so generous with her time, who loved her family.

A place to remember everything that made Lyn the lady we knew and loved. Lyn was a wife, a mum, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a daughter, a sister and an aunt. We each have our own memories of Lyn. She was not the same person to any two people, but we all have one thing in common, love and respect for a strong, brave lady. Lyn loved walking her dogs, as well as feeding the birds and squirrels who visited her garden daily. She would refer to them as "her" birds and "her" squirrels. Lyn had a strong sense of right and wrong, and was never afraid to show it, and she could sometimes be just a little bit stubborn. It was her beautiful smile and how her face would light up when her loved ones visited , her love of a laugh and a joke and keenness to tease others which will never be forgotten. Even when Lyn was diagnosed with life limiting bowel cancer, despite the pain and many changes to her life, her determination, strength and positive outlook never faltered, she continued to smile. She was tremendously brave and fought her battle with great dignity and determination.

During her life Lyn loved and was loved. We are truly grateful to have walked the paths of life alongside her with her hand in ours to guide, support, love and protect us. We couldn't have asked for a more loyal, thoughtful wife, mum, nan daughter, sister and auntie. Our family is a far greater place for her presence amongst us.
